Menu Design + Engineering
I worked collaboratively with the design department at bd's Mongolian Grill to create a new look for the dine-in menus that effectively marketed their profitable items and made the create-your-own and made-to-order sections more clear to diners. Once the design concept was approved, I remotely directed a photo shoot for the images needed to support the design. Inspiration was taken from the large round flat grill they use to prepare the food and the circular logo. I stressed this circular shape throughout the layout with the overhead photos in circular bowls and rounded platters where possible, as well as other support graphics.
